Revitalize Physiotherapy
At Revitalize Physio, we provide professional physiotherapy services to assess, diagnose and treat your musculoskeletal (i.e. muscle/joint/bone/ligament) injury, condition or pain with the aim to help support you with achieving your goals for wellbeing such as returning to sport, returning to work or staying at work, or even achieving day to day activities.
Physiotherapists can make an ACC claim on your behalf if you have recently injured yourself and you are able to continue working.
You can book directly with a physiotherapist who can make an ACC claim and start treatment with no GP referral needed. Helping you to start your injury rehabilitation earlier.
Physiotherapists cannot provide a medical certificate or prescribe medication – if you believe you require either of these – please book in with your GP.
Physiotherapists have the ability to refer on to radiology (X-ray and ultrasound), specialists and other health providers as needed.

Please allow 45 minutes for your appointment – but we can accommodate you if you would prefer a shorter or longer appointment (i.e. 30 minutes up to 60 minutes).
Please wear or bring suitable clothing i.e. shorts if you have a knee injury.
Materials such as tape, needles, footwear inserts, supports/braces will incur an extra charge which is dependent on the amount of product used, type etc which pricing can be dicsussed at your appointment.
Insured
Co-payments are normal for ACC physiotherapy appointments as ACC covers only part of the physiotherapy appointment costs.
Some workplaces injuries have their own insurance provider that are not ACC.
Some insurance provides will match the ACC coverage with a $30 co-payment.
Some insurance providers will cover the whole appointment cost – requiring no extra payment from yourself.
Cancellation Information
If you are unable to make your booked appointment, please give as much notice to cancel your appointment so that the appointment can then be used by someone else.
If you have a late cancellation or do not show up for your appointment – your physiotherapist does not get paid by ACC or the insurer. With that, a late cancellation fee of $30 will incur to cover the physiotherapists time.
